A Japanese tour was planned for April, getting so far as to be advertised in the music press, but was cancelled on February 12th. 

According to sources in Japan, the tour was originally penciled in for late 1999, but was postponed due to problems with the venues so these were replacement shows. This time the promoter refused attempts to postpone them and so the tour was cancelled. 

The main reason for the cancellation would appear to have been the long awaited UK tour.

Also by now further line up changes had occurred. 

Gellar was also reduced to merely supplying backing vocals
